Setting A Trap For Army And Pakistan

Pro-U.S. Pakistani politicians are setting a trap for the Pakistani armed forces. The elected government has shunned responsibility and wants the military to be solely responsible for operations in our tribal region so that they later can accuse the military of killing our own people. See how the game plan is unfolding: Read more »

Shoaib Akhtar A Victim!

By: Rizwan Rizzi Elahi

No doubt in country like Pakistan a person like Shoaib Akhtar is hated. His personal deeds will cause hate towards him no matter what. We have seen that if a family member starts smoking drinking wine the next thing happens is that he is rejected by the whole family. In reality they need more love than before. One of the reasons they start drinking or start other things is because there is an issue in their life. Only love can bring them back to normal. Opposite happens in Pakistan family and friends turn their back on people like that. I am not saying Shoaib’s drinking or smoking weed is okay, my point is this that his personal life should be left alone. If anything one should do is change them with love or leave them alone.

Many in cricket team are young men who come from small cities and not used to modern life. If Shoaib walks in dressing room naked this will cause huge trouble for other players but in west it’s common for the players to walk around naked in dressing rooms. But no one looks at each others they mind their own business. Not only they hate this in Pakistan they also make judgment on person based on these minor things. Calling them names and concluding that they are the worse Muslims.

As a matter of fact a true Muslim person should understand that every human has right to do whatever they want to do and only Allah can judge them better.  One can turn their eyes to other side if they don’t like what their eyes are seeing.  Same example goes for women; we ask them to wear Burqa in hot weather but if they don’t wear it men should be able to turn their eyes by not looking at them and should not judge them as corrupt human being just because they are not covered from head to toe. We ask them to control but we the men can’t control our own eyes. Sadly this is the society we live in.

I feel for Shoaib Akhter and agree that he has been not dealt with responsibility and had been ignored and hated for his modern views. This problem is growing as cancer in our society that is stopping the talent to shine through. Give the love to people who need the most. Not to the Munafiqs (hypocrites) who do it all and master their art of hiding the bad deeds they are doing and show themselves as perfect Muslims.
